Show your appreciation

I have just received a home-made “Thank You” card. The fact that somebody went to the trouble of making me a card, of writing such kind words in it, and then bothering to post it has completely ‘done me in.’
Appreciating someone, and then telling them, need not take up much of your time, but the after effects go on a lifetime.
When did you, or I, do that last?

Kate, in this electronic age, it has become so special to receive a handwritten note or card and even more special if someone actually took the trouble to make a card! I am guilty of neglecting that nowadays. I used to love making cards and writing notes and posting them off and you’re asking a good question. When last did I do it? I can’t even remember! Thanks for giving me some food for thought here and I’m happy for you. I bet you will always treasure that card. 🙂

      Hi Ula
I completely agree with you. The personalised and unique gifts that people give in appreciation are so much more loved and treasured than just an email, or an e-card, aren’t they.
And yes, I will be treasuring the card, which is currently on my windowsill for everyone to see.
