Three Word Quotes

I love quotes.  Whether it’s Winston Churchill, Martin Luther King or the next door neighbour, everyone has something to say, and many can teach us a thing or two!!

At the moment, I am going through a three word quote phase.  Less is more!

There is an art to keeping things short.  When I was in the police force, one of the things drummed into us about talking on the radio was “accuracy, brevity, speed”.  Get it right, keep it short and say it quickly.

So what three word quotes are out there?  Here’s a small list and I ask that you comment at the end of the post and add your own.  We can all teach and encourage each other in just three words.

I Love You (that’s to my husband by the way)

Be the Change

Affirm your Life

Do It Now

Live your Dream

Yes You can

Silence is Golden

Keep your Promises

Over to you.  Share your thoughts.  Thanks for contributing.

I also build up, train and encourage others to achieve more than they thought possible.

My favorite quote that I use quite often fits here… “Seize the Day”

  2. Jude says:

    I like: ‘Be here now’
I was in the police force too – but can only remember during training, when we were all wondering how on earth we’d learn everything, our sergeant saying ‘How do you eat an elephant!’ Bit by bit I guess!

      Thanks for your contribution, Jude.
It is amazing what we actually did get to learn and achieve in the police. Somehow it all got retained. Funny being out of the police though. Somethings still kick in when I don’t expect them.

  3. yes silence from the English lady….LOL 😉

  4. Madhu says:

“Be the change” is my favourite and also “Yes we can” 🙂

We can all make a difference. The problem that some people have is that they think they can make a difference on their own. I don’t believe we can make any significant difference if we don’t have others with us. Hence the “Yes WE can”.
Thanks for stopping by again, Madhu.

  5. Keep your Promises

    –I will. 😀

  6. Anita Mac says:

Live, laugh, love….maybe that is more of a mantra!

  7. Listen and learn!

I also like .. Make a Difference (MAD)

Thanks for adding your Three Word quote here. The list gets longer, and all comments are valid. I trust that we will all make a difference to people around us in a positive way, as we go through our lives.

    “Form follows function”.
It has been an architects mantra for the longest time.
