Many of us live with a spirit of poverty. I can go through Christmas with a “Scrooge” mentality – a spirit of poverty. Yet, it is not about being physically poor (in poverty), it is an attitude. You can be very rich and still have a spirit of poverty.
A radical act of generosity breaks this spirit.
Generosity is a visual thing. When one person sees another being generous there is a greater probability that they too will be generous. It has a “domino effect”.
Spontaneous giving breaks something in us. So how about a bit of spontaneity this Christmas?
