Who am I?

My name is Catherine but I’m so very often called Kate that it has stuck.  I am married to Steve.  You’ll get to meet him because he’s mentioned often in my posts.  We have been married for 28 years, this March 2013.  We have two children, Lawrence and Nicola of whom I am immensely proud.

I started this blog in January 2011 and have, since then added two more to my portfolio.  I purchased a DSLR in the summer of last year (2011) and have been snapping away ever since.  You can see my daily exploits at My 2012 Photo Challenge.

I also have a faith blog which can be found at Faith is spelled R.I.S.K.

I am currently living in Penticton, British Columbia.

I have worked full-time teaching and training users on software applications, as well as motivating and leading teams in many areas of personal and work life.  To relax I grew fruit and vegetables.  I am an organic gardener and shared a large plot, and the responsibilities, with a friend.

You’re welcome along for the ride.  New adventures are always fun.

Thank you for stopping by.

Kate

We would like to offer you Kate, our dear Sister in The Lord, The King of Kings Friendship Award, it’s very differant from most, more like a blessing and some call it that or a gift, you can accept it as you feel in your heart or not, it is to afirm we are one, we are family.

Thanks for visiting one of my blogs. I am glad you enjoyed the post on Mont Saint Michele. I have fond memories of Penticton and working for my aunt and uncle at The Peach Festival. The taste of the rhubarb (my favorite) stays with me. 🙂

Once again, thank you Anne. Sometimes, I really don’t know what to do with the awards, but I will take my time and decide how to action this. Every blessing.

Hi Kate, I know what you mean, I felt the same, but I very much appreciate the Awards, they are a wonderful way to encourage and uplift others and to get to know each other better but I don’t like pressure and I also like to get to know people before nominating them just in case their into New age teaching or other worldly practices, we are not to promote these and we need to protect our readers but some non – believers are ok and they are searching, so I try to encourage them too, I’m an evangelist at heart.

I received about 6 Awards in a row, so I put the emblem on my Blog so others would know I had it, some Awards you can only receive once and then I linked it back to the person who gave it to me, until I had the people and time to post it, I still have a about 4 to post but I usually do the ones without rules first, that is as far as thanking the people who gave it to me and I also pass Awards on to others and add their names even after posting, that is if there is no restriction to do so, some are limited like this one I gave you. Hope that helps.

    Christian Love Anne.
